UMADAOP to Sponsor Women’s Basketball Game vs. EMU on Saturday

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Program (UMADAOP), funded by the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Lucas County, has partnered with the University of Toledo to sponsor the Rockets' women's basketball game against Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Feb. 9, the University announced today.

UMADAOP's sponsorship is designed to help raise awareness about the opiate and heroin epidemic that is occurring throughout Lucas County. The company will pass out information and literature regarding support services and opiate prevention during the game around Savage Arena.

The Rockets (13-6, 5-3 MAC) and the Eagles tip off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. To purchase tickets, stop by the UT Athletic Ticket Office in Savage Arena, go online to utrockets.com or call 419.530.GOLD (4653).
