Rockets Host Wayne State in Holiday Game on Wednesday

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team is back at Savage Arena on Wednesday, facing Wayne State at 7:00 p.m. in its annual Holiday Game. Streaming will be on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network.
The Rockets (3-5) come off an 85-60 defeat to No. 21 Ohio State on Sunday. Ella Weaver put up career numbers for Toledo, scoring 21 points on 7-of-10 from the field, 4-of-6 from three and 3-of-4 from the free throw line.
The Warriors (6-3, 2-0 GLIAC) have won three games in a row heading into the contest. Toledo will be the only Division I opponent for Wayne State, and the game will count as an exhibition for the Warriors.
