LAFAYETTE, La. – Toledo improved its stroke total by 10 strokes from the first to second round on Monday and is tied for 12^th place following 36 holes at the Louisiana Classics. The tournament is the Rockets' first event of the spring and is being played at the Oakbourne Country Club.

The Rockets are tied for 12^th place in the team standings at 28-over par 604 (307-297) and are just 10 strokes behind defending Mid-American Conference champion Kent State. The Golden Flashes are in fifth place at 18-over par 594 (303-291). McNeese State leads the 15-team field at five-over par 581 (290-291).

Freshman David Amm is leading the Rockets at six-over par 150 (78-72) and is tied for 31^st place. Amm registered four birdies in his final 10 holes to finish his second round at even-par 72, Toledo's best of the day.

Junior Rasmus Broholt Lind is tied for 45^th place at seven-over par 151 (76-75), while senior Duncan McNeill is tied for 60^th place at nine-over par 153 (80-73). McNeill carded UT's second-best total with a one-over par 73 in the second round.

Rounding out the Rocket lineup were sophomore Grant Godfrey (T-67^th/78-77=155) and freshman Muhammed Afif Mohd Fathi (T-78^th/75-82=157).

Tomorrow's final round has been changed to an 8:00 a.m. CT shotgun start due to rain and thunderstorms in the forecast.
