TOLEDO, Ohio - University of Toledo men's tennis coach Al Wermer announced the signing of Vlad Meluta (Rochester Hills, Mich.) to a national letter of intent today. Meluta will be joining the Rockets as a freshman for the 2020-21 season.

• Ranked sixth in Michigan, 24th in the Great Lakes Region by Tennis Recruiting, class of 2020
• Ranked eighth in SEMTA, 43rd in the section by the USTA, boys 18's
• Played No. 1 singles from sophomore to senior year
• Three-time Michigan All-State tennis team member
