KENNESAW, Ga. – The Toledo men's golf team improved its score from Round 1 to Round 2 by 10 strokes after shooting a season-best 291 on Monday at Kennesaw State's Pinetree Intercollegiate. The Rockets are alone in ninth place at 16-over par 592 but are within six strokes of third place in a tournament being played at the par-72, 7,108-yard Pinetree Country Club.

Senior Nate Thomson led the way in today's action at three-over par 147 and is tied for 15^th place, one stroke ahead of senior Rasmus Broholt Lind tied for 18^th place at four-over par 148. Freshman Jack Doody is tied for 24^th place at five-over par 149. Lind and Doody both posted season-low rounds with a two-under 70 and one-under 71, respectively.

Senior Grant Godfrey and sophomore David Amm are tied for 37^th place at eight-over par 152.

Mercer (577) and Kennesaw State (579) are separated by just two shots at the top of the team leaderboard. Belmont's Evan Davis leads all individuals at 10-under par 134.

The Rockets' first tee time in tomorrow's final round will be at 8:45 a.m. off No. 10.
