Toledo Men's Tennis Drops Road Contest at No. 2 Ohio State

Columbus, Ohio – The University of Toledo men's tennis team fell to Ohio State 4-0 on Sunday. Despite a strong effort from the Rockets, the No. 2 Buckeyes made a clean sweep.Â

"This was one of our best battles with OSU," said head coach Al Wermer. "I think the most impressive aspect of today was how we kept fighting relentlessly to stay on the court and extend the match."

Senior Luka Vitosevic went toe-to-toe with No. 36 John McNally at the No. 1 singles position. Vitosevic played to a 6-3 loss in the first set and left the second set unfinished at 3-2. Junior Danilo Vukotic dropped his first set in the No. 2 spot, 6-2, but began shifting the momentum against No. 13 Kyle Seelig in his second set. Their match was left unfinished at 6-2, 4-5.
