Rockets Fall in Clash Against Indiana

Bloomington, Ind. – The Toledo men's tennis team fell, 7-0, to a very tough Indiana team Sunday afternoon.
"This wrapped up a valuable opening weekend," said head coach Al Wermer. "Today we already had a few areas a growth from yesterday. This group has a high ceiling."

Indiana clinched the doubles point with victories at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. It appeared Rocket duo of Tyler Gargas/Thawin Suksathaporn led their opponents and had a shot at a win before their match was suspended.Â

In singles action, junior Danilo Vukotic fought nationally ranked Bennett Crane at the No. 2 singles position, falling in two hard-fought sets (6-3, 7-5). Senior Luka Vitosevic, playing at the No. 1 spot, the last Rocket standing, fell to Antonio Cembellin 6-3, 7-6(1).Â
