Kuvanun Moves Up Two Spots After One-Under 71 in NCAA Madison Regional

VERONA, Wis. - University of Toledo junior Pinyada Kuvanun moved up two spots and is tied for 24th place following Tuesday's second round of the 2018 NCAA Madison Regional. The tournament is being hosted by the University of Wisconsin at the par-72, 6,313-yard University Ridge Golf Course.
Kuvanun shot a one-under par 71 today and stands at an even-par 144 through 36 holes. After opening today's round with a bogey, Kuvanun birdied three of her next four holes to get to two-under par. Following a bogey on the seventh hole, Kuvanun concluded play with 11 straight pars. The field includes 24 Top 100 players, with Kuvanun ranking 84th in Golfstat's rankings.
Oregon State's Nicole Schroeder leads the field after 36 holes at 10-under par 134 (68-66), four shots in front of Indiana's Erin Harper (70-68=138). No. 4 Duke sits atop the team standings at 14-under par, eight strokes in front of No. 31 Virginia and 11 ahead of No. 6 Southern Cal.
Kuvanun is one of 96 players, comprised of 18 teams and six individuals, taking part in the event, which is scheduled for three rounds. Tomorrow's final round will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET. Kuvanun is set to tee off at 9:45 a.m. ET.
The top six teams and the top three individuals not associated with those squads will advance to the 2018 NCAA Championship in Stillwater, Okla.
