Hillsdale, Mich. - Junior Anna Bellman won the discus throw after tossing for 46.91m as the Toledo women's track and field team closed out the Hillsdale GINA Relays. The Rockets recorded five top-five finishes and two new personal records on the final day of competition.

"We had another solid day to finish off the weekend," head coach Linh Nguyen said. "Anna Bellman and Chloee Kleespies both threw really well in the discus despite some poor winds. Michelle Hostettler had a really nice heat-win and personal record in the 1,500m as well."

Toledo had a strong day all around that started off with the field events. Kleespies took second in the discus behind Bellman, throwing for 46.31m. Bellman then took fifth in the javelin throw after tossing for 33.87m.

UT's two personal records both came during the 1,500m. Freshman Michelle Hostettler took sixth and won her heat after crossing the finish line in 4:44.87. Sophomore Maddie Ferner took 27th after finishing in 4:56.14.

The Rockets now prepare to host the annual Toledo Invitational in Toledo, Ohio. Competition is set to run May 3-4 at the UT Track & Field Facility.
