MESA, Ariz. – Toledo shot a 24-over par 312 and is in 15th place following Friday's first round of Notre Dame's Clover Cup at Longbow Golf Club.
Sophomore Saranlak Tumfong is leading the Rockets at four-over par 76 and is tied for 38th place. Junior Pinyada Kuvanun is tied for 47th place at five-over par 77 and is followed by sophomore Donchanok Toburint (79/T-60th), junior Pimchanok Kawil (80/T-67th) and junior Natcha Daengpiem (85/T-81st).
No. 49 Ohio State leads the 16-team field at two-under par 286, one stroke ahead of No. 8 Arizona State and five in front of No. 15 Oklahoma. OSU junior Niki Schroeder sits atop the individual leaderboard at five-under par 67 and is two shots in front of Kentucky's Leonie Bettel at three-under par 69.
The Rockets will begin tomorrow's second round at 8:00 a.m. local time.
