Toledo, Ohio — The University of Toledo women's volleyball team placed nine student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC list, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Maurissa Leonard,
Rhyen Neal,
Andrea Stephenson,
Emma Swope, and
Carly Townsend represented the Rockets as honorees. This marked the third Academic All-MAC award for Leonard, Stephenson and Townsend, and the first honor for the other six student-athletes.
Toledo tied with Akron and Ball State in leading the MAC with nine honorees. A total of 84 student-athletes were named to this year's Academic All-MAC squad.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
