TOLEDO, Ohio - University of Toledo Head Women's Golf Coach
Jenny Coluccio announced on Tuesday that
Caroline Kane (Pickerington, Ohio)Â will be joining the Rockets' program beginning in the 2019-20 academic year.
Â
Kane earned first-team all-conference honors as a sophomore and senior and helped Pickerington North High School to the OCC-Ohio Division title this past fall. After sitting out her junior season due to injury, Kane dropped her stroke average by over three strokes from her sophomore to senior year.
"Caroline will be a dynamic asset to our program," Coluccio said. "She has weathered a lot of adversity over the past two years, and it has given her enormous motivation for her future. Caroline is dedicated to the little things it takes to be successful and is determined to make an impact. We are excited to have her join the Rocket Golf Family."
Â
Kane is the third member of the Rockets' incoming recruiting class. She joins Amelia Lee (Hilliard, Ohio) and Kathryn Roth (Waterville, Ohio).
