SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Sophomore Grant Godfrey and senior Duncan McNeill both carded team-best even-par 71s on Monday as the University of Toledo concluded play at Notre Dame's Fighting Irish Classic. The Rockets finished with a team score of 21-over par 873 at the par-71, 7,020-yard Warren Golf Course to finish in 15^th place.

Godfrey paced the Rockets in the event with a career-low two-under par 211 (69-71-71) to finish tied for 26^th place.

Sophomore Jack Boczar tied for 74^th place at 10-over par 223 (76-68-79), while McNeill (82-72-71), senior Spencer Shoemaker (75-75-75) and junior Rasmus Broholt Lind (75-75-75) tied for 80^th place.

Illinois captured the tournament title with a remarkable 44-under par 808, 10 strokes in front of Georgia Southern. The Eagles' Steven Fisk earned medalist honors at 15-under par 198 (64-69-65).

Toledo will now be idle for nearly a month when it concludes its fall campaign on Nov. 5-7 at the Saint Mary's Invitational.
