Toledo, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's tennis team will head to Boca Raton, Fla. for the Mid-American Conference Invitational Friday–Sunday, Nov. 2-4. Tournament play begins at 11:30 a.m. on Friday and will continue at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The Midnight Blue & Gold will face Buffalo, Northern Illinois, Akron, Florida Atlantic and ASA Miami. This will be the Rockets' final match of the fall season.
The Rockets last competed in the ITA Midwest Regionals in Ann Arbor, Mich. where junior Dee Dee Lennabanchong fought her way through the qualifying bracket, racking up three victories, including one over Michigan's No. 1 seed Lera Patiuk (2-6, 6-4, 6-4). Leenabanchong managed to land in the main draw, where she fell to Wisconsin's Ava Markham in three sets (2-6, 7-5, 6-2).
The 2018-19 season will resume Jan 18 with a matchup against Tiffin at 1:00 p.m.
