TOLEDO, OHIO - Toledo (10-5, 1-2 MAC) will look to remain unbeaten at home in 2017-18 on Wednesday, Jan. 10 when it hosts Mid-American Conference East Division foe Ohio (8-6, 2-1 MAC). Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Savage Arena and will be streamed live on ESPN3.Â
UT is a perfect 6-0 at the friendly confines of Savage Arena this year and is in the midst of a 12-game home winning streak, tied for the ninth-longest home unbeaten stretch in school history. The Rockets have won at least 10-consecutive home contests on 12 occasions in program annals, including a school-record 31-straight wins from Dec. 3, 1990-Feb. 3, 1993.
The last team to escape Savage Arena with a victory are the Bobcats, claiming a 64-55 win on Jan. 18, 2017.  Â
In nine-plus years under head coach Tricia Cullop, UT is 118-32 (.787) in home match-ups, including 64-16 (.800) against conference foes.Â
The 2017 MAC Champions enter tomorrow's cross-division contest on the heels of a 70-57 setback at Eastern Michigan on Saturday.Â
Junior Kaayla McIntyre paced UT with a career-high 25 points, a contest-best 11 caroms and two rejections to post her fourth double-double this year. McIntyre shot 9-of-16 from the field and an efficient 7-of-10 from the free throw line to surpass the 20-point plateau for the third time as a Rocket.Â
Senior Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott added 11 points and knocked down a triple midway through the final period to become only the fourth player in school history to record 200 three-point field goals.
The Rockets were limited to 38.2 percent (21-of-55) from the field, including 23.5 percent (4-of-17) from three-point range, and 57.9 percent (11-of-19) from the charity stripe. UT was also victimized by 17 turnovers, which EMU translated into 20 points.
Eastern Michigan connected on a respectable 46.3 percent (25-of-54) from the floor and 82.4 percent (14-of-17) from the free throw line to record its second-straight MAC triumph.
UT continues to be fueled offensively by the trio of McIntyre, Bravo-Harriott and junior Mikaela Boyd, who are averaging 15.2, 12.1 and 10.1 ppg, respectively.
Ohio comes into Wednesday's match-up having won three of its last four contests, most recently securing a 70-67 overtime win vs. Akron on Saturday. Amani Burke led four Bobcats in double figures with 19 points, followed closely by Gabby Burris, Taylor Agler and Cierra Hooks with 17, 16 and 12, respectively.
Ohio, which is 3-4 away from home, boasts an offense with three players averaging double figures paced by Burke's and Hooks' 13.5 and 12.4 ppg, respectively.
UT and Ohio will meet for the second time in two weeks and 70th time overall. The Bobcats secured a 78-61 victory against the Rockets on Dec. 31 in the Convo.
Toledo leads the all-time series, 44-25, but has lost the last five meetings against its cross-division foe. The Rockets have also dropped the last two match-ups in Lucas County and are 27-8 all-time in games played at home in the series.

UT and NIU will meet for the first of two match-ups during the regular season and 53rd time overall. Toledo leads the all-time series, 33-19, and has won four of the last five meetings against its division foe.Â
A year ago, the Rockets and Huskies split their two regular-season meetings with the away team emerging victorious both times. UT suffered a 77-73 setback in Savage Arena (Jan. 14), before claiming a 79-75 victory in the Convocation Center (March 1). The division rivals then met for a third time in the championship game of the MAC Tournament in Cleveland, with the Midnight Blue & Gold registering an 82-71 neutral-court win (March 11).
