TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo (6-2) will play its lone home game during the month of December on Saturday, Dec. 9 when the Midnight Blue & Gold host Cleveland State (6-2). The match-up against the Horizon League member Vikings is slated for 2:00 p.m. in Savage Arena and will be streamed live on ESPN3.
The 2017 Mid-American Conference Champions are in the midst of a 10-game home winning streak and have posted an impressive 65-16 (.802) mark against non-league opponents under 10th-year head coach Tricia Cullop.
 Â
UT enters tomorrow's matinee on the heels of a 73-54 setback at Duquesne on Wednesday that snapped its five-game winning streak.
The Dukes (8-2) connected on 11 three-point field goals and shot a blistering 47.8 percent (11-of-23) from beyond the arc to hand UT its first loss since Nov. 14. Chassidy Omogrosso and Julijana Vojinovic did a bulk of DU's damage from three-point range with four treys each, while Kadri-Ann Lass had two.Â
Duquesne was also able to force UT into turning the ball over 16 times and the home team translated those miscues into 22 points.
Junior Kaayla McIntyre paced Toledo with 14 points, seven boards and a season-high three steals, while classmate Olivia Cunningham had 10.
Â
UT, which is 4-0 at Savage Arena this season, is fueled offensively by McIntyre, senior Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott, Cunningham and junior Mikaela Boyd, who are averaging 13.0, 11.9, 9.1 and 8.3 ppg, respectively.
