COLUMBUS, IN – Toledo is tied for 10^th place following Saturday's opening round at the inaugural Hoosier Collegiate at Otter Creek. Battling cold temperatures and strong winds throughout the day, the Rockets posted a team score of 13-over par 301 to stand tied with Cincinnati at the Otter Creek Golf Course (Par-72, 7,199 Yards).

UT's top four individuals are separated by a mere five strokes in a field of 75 players. Senior Otto Black and sophomore Stephen Watts are tied for 14^th place at one-over par 73, freshman Jamie Knipe is tied for 46^th spot at five-over par 77 and sophomore Colin Joseph is tied for 56^th place at six-over par 78. Senior Thomas Shindler rounds out the Rockets' lineup tied for 71^st spot at nine-over par 81.

Valparaiso's Peter Webb and IUPUI's Rylan Porter currently share the individual lead at two-under par 70.

Nationally ranked Purdue is leading the 13-team field at three-over par 291. The Boilermakers have three players in the Top 15 to maintain a two-shot advantage over second place Marquette and Ball State.

Due to inclement weather, changes were made to the format of the two-day event. Players will return to the course for the final 18 holes tomorrow. Teams will utilize tee-time starts off No. 1 and No. 10 holes, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Rockets will play with Cincinnati and Valparaiso during Sunday's final round of the inaugural event, starting at 9:50 a.m. off hole No. 10.
