Toledo Sits in 12th Place Following First Two Rounds of Colleton River Collegiate

BLUFFTON, SC – Toledo stands in 12th place following the opening 36 holes at the Colleton River Collegiate on Monday. The tournament is taking place on the Pete Dye Course at the Colleton River Plantation Club (Par-72, 7,166 Yards) and is being hosted by Michigan State University.
The College of Charleston is in first place with a two-round score of 589 (+13) and holds a nine-stroke advantage over Connecticut (598, +22). The Rockets are 43 shots back with a 56-over par score of 632 (313-319).
Individually, Memphis' Thomas Perrot (73-70) sits atop the leaderboard at one-under par 138, followed closely by Xavier's Jose Montano (74-71) and Queens-Charlotte's JC McFadyen (73-72) at one-over par 145.
Senior Otto Black is pacing UT at six-over par 150 (76-74) and is tied for 17th place. Sophomore Stephen Watts is six strokes behind Black at 12-over par 156 (74-82), followed by freshman Jamie Knipe at 19-over par 163 (80-83). Rounding out the Rockets' lineup are freshman Spencer Shoemaker (83-82) and sophomore Colin Joseph (84-81) at 21-over par 165.
In addition, freshman Cameron Mills is competing as an individual in this week's event and currently stands at 14-over par 158 (78-80).
The third and final round of the two-day tourney will be held on Tuesday, with Toledo's tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. off the first hole.
