KENT, OH - Toledo (11-9, 6-3 MAC) begins a four-game stretch against Mid-American Conference East Division opponents on Saturday, Feb. 6 with a match-up at Kent State (4-16, 1-9 MAC). Tip-off time is set for 5:00 p.m. in the M.A.C. Center. Tomorrow's contest is the first of a doubleheader, as the Rocket men's team will follow with a contest also against the Golden Flashes at approximately 7:00 p.m.

Toledo put together a game-changing 21-5 run over the course of the third and fourth periods to sweep the regular-season series against the Broncos for the sixth time in the last eight seasons.
The Midnight Blue & Gold trailed 41-39 with 4:04 left in the third quarter before going on the game-changing burst. Junior Janice Manakana and freshman Kaayla McIntyre spearheaded the rally, combining for 14 points to give the visitors a lead they would not relinquish.
Monakana paced four Rockets in double figures with a career-high 25 points and a contest-best eight rebounds. The London, England native scored more than half her points at the charity stripe, draining a perfect 14-of-14 at the line, the third-best single-game effort in school history.
Senior Brenae Harris added 16 points, sophomore Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott had 13 and freshman Kaayla McIntyre totaled 12 off the bench to help Toledo reach at least 80 points for the fourth time this year. Two of the four efforts have come against WMU.
The Rockets shot 45.1 percent (23-of-51) from the field in Wednesday's road triumph, including 50.0 percent (6-of-12) from three-point land, and 87.5 percent (28-of-32) from the charity stripe to stay within one game from the top spot in the MAC West Division standings.
UT also finished with a decisive 28-3 advantage at the free throw line and a commanding 35-24 edge on the glass to record its fifth-consecutive triumph over WMU.
The Rockets are fueled offensively by the quartet of Harris, Monakana, senior Ana Capotosto, and Bravo-Harriott, who are averaging 14.6, 11.2, 10.6 and 9.5 ppg, respectively.
Monakana has led the Rockets in scoring each of the last three games, averaging 20.3 points. The reigning MAC West Division Player of the Week is shooting an impressive 50.0 percent (18-of-36) from the floor, including 53.8 percent (7-of-13) from three-point land, and a perfect 18-of-18 at the charity stripe during this stretch (Jan. 23-Feb. 3).
UT, which sports a 5-7 record away from home this season, will take on a Kent State team which has lost 12 of its last 13 contests. Most recently, KSU dropped a 55-52 decision at Miami on Wednesday. Larissa Lurken led the Golden Flashes with 13 points and seven boards against the RedHawks.
Kent State, which is 4-7 at home this season, features three players scoring at least 9.5 ppg led by Jordan Korninek and Lurken at 15.4 and 14.3 ppg, respectively.
