Jaylen Coleman, Sam Tiongson Named Toledo's Athletes of the Week

Junior Jaylen Coleman and senior Sam Tiongson are Toledo's Athletes of the Week, respectively.
A linebacker from Pittsburgh, PA, Jaylen Coleman registered a career-best 16 stops, including two tackles-for-loss and one pass breakup, in the Rockets' 30-23 (2OT) victory over Iowa State.
Coleman has now totaled double-digit tackles in each of his first two games this fall. He had 13 stops vs. Arkansas last Saturday.
Toledo is back in the Glass Bowl again this weekend with a Saturday matchup vs. Arkansas State. Kickoff time is set for 7:00 p.m.
Tiongson, a goalkeeper from Carmel, IN, registered her second-straight shutout with a 2-0 blanking on Sunday at Northern Kentucky in Toledo's non-conference finale.Tiongson was credited with two saves as the Rockets held a 23-8 shot advantage in the contest.
The victory extended the Rockets' win streak to three-consecutive matches and improved UT's record to 4-5-0.
Toledo opens Mid-American Conference play this weekend with road matches at Northern Illinois on Friday, Sept. 25 and Western Michigan on Sunday, Sept. 27.
