Vince, Vogelsong, Timmons Go 3-4-5 in 10K at MAC Championship Meet

Muncie, IN -The University of Toledo took three of the top five spots in the women's 10,000-meter run in the first day of action at the 2015 MAC Outdoor Track Championships in Muncie, IN Thursday night.
Sophomore Cassandra Vince earned All-MAC honors with a third-place finish, coming in at an even 35:00.00. Right behind her were senior Megan Vogelsong (35:16.59) and junior Priscilla Timmons (35:21.59), in fourth and fifth, respectively.
The 3-4-5 finish gave the Rockets 15 team points, vaulting them into second place with 21 points overall at the end of the first day. Akron leads with 37 points.
Earlier in the day, senior Carly Molls took third place in the javelin. Molls' third throw went for 45.44 meters, about one meter less than the winning toss by Akron's Jessica Delic (46.45m). Molls' third-place finish earns her All-MAC honors. It is her best finish ever in the javelin in the MAC Meet. She finished in sixth, seventh and sixth in each of the past three MAC Championship meets.
The meet continues tomorrow and runs through Saturday.
