
Rockets Swept By Miami in Conference Matchup

Toledo lost the doubles point for just the second time this season in a 7-0 loss to the RedHawks.
OXFORD, OH - The Toledo women's tennis team were swept by Miami, 7-0, in a battle of Mid-American Conference leaders on Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, the Rockets drop to 13-7 on the season and 3-2 in league play.
Toledo lost the doubles point for just the second time this season, snapping a nine-match streak of winning the point in the process.
In doubles play, senior Lexy Pitt and junior Emily Mazzola recorded just their fourth loss of the season, while junior Mackenzie Bowman and sophomore Kayleigh Hall lost at the No. 3 doubles spot.
UT is now 39-12 in doubles matches on the year.
The RedHawks also won all six singles matches in straight sets.
Freshman Sidnay Huck battled in the first set at No. 3 singles, but fell in a tiebreaker, before MU;s Christine Guerrazzi won 6-2 in set No. 2.
The Rockets will host their final home match of the season next weekend when they welcome Eastern Michigan to the Glass City on Friday, April 10. The contest is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
