Kalamazoo, MI – The Toledo men's tennis team concluded its weekend at the Mid-American Conference Invite in Kalamazoo on Sunday, with a strong performance from the reigning MAC Player of the Year, junior Stjepan Sisko.
Â
Sisko won three-straight matches to capture the Flight A singles title. He won a tough three-set battle in this first-round match against Eliott Hureau from Binghamton (6-7 (7), 7-6 (6), 10-7). "Some guys showed a lot of progress this weekend, though it may not have shown in the W-L records," said head coach Al Wermer. "Omar and Reid have improved immensely and Stjepan is continuously getting better and responding well to his opponents."
