
Rockets Soar Past Flyers, 5-0

DAYTON, OH - Toledo swept its way past host Dayton in women's tennis action Friday afternoon, taking all three doubles matches and not dropping a singles set in a 5-0 victory.
The Rockets improved to 7-3 on the season in their final non-conference showdown of the spring season.
At the top of the lineup, Martina Wodzinski, Maha Guirguis and Ashley Frey had little difficulties in taking their singles matches. Rahshell Washington also scored a victory at No. 5 singles, while Silvia Carvajal and Jessica Azoulay both led their matches before they were stopped.
In doubles action, Wodzinski and Guirguis took an 8-4 victory at No. 1, while Frey and Nadia Zoubareva won an 8-3 decision at No. 2. Carvajal teamed with Melissa Reynolds at No. 3 and won 8-3 to wrap up action.
Toledo travels to Northern Illinois for its first MAC match, with first serve set for 1 p.m. on Friday, March 26.
