Men's Tennis Drops Two Matches on the Road

TOLEDO, OH - The men's tennis team moved to 11-7 on the season after dropping matches to Purdue and DePaul over the weekend. On Friday, the Boilermakers defeated the Rockets 6-1 and then DePaul defeated Toledo on Saturday 7-0.
Knot Likitkumchorn picked up a win for UT in No. 2 singles play on Friday, defeating Eric Ramos of Purdue, 7-4(4), 6-2. Jay Miller took his No. 5 singles match to three sets including two tiebreakers before falling to Roberto Cabrini, 7-6(5), 6-7(9-11), 1-0 (8).
Miller also went to three sets on Saturday against DePaul's Bartosz Jozwiak but lost the match, 6-7(5), 6-4, 1-0 (3).
The Rockets will spend this weekend playing three of their four remaining out-of-conference matches as they head to Pittsburgh to take on Duquesne on Friday at 1:00 p.m. and Temple on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. UT will then make the short trek to Youngstown, OH to take on Youngstown State at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
