
Rockets Win 6-1 After Dropping Doubles Point to NIU

Sophomores Martina Wodzinski and Maha Guirguis had the lone doubles win at the No. 1 spot by defeating NIU's Nao Umemura and Brooke Forsberg, 8-4. Wodzinski and Guirguis improved to 19-2 on the season when playing together.
Freshman Ashley Frey, sophomore Nadia Zoubareva and senior Sarah Horning all played a first-set tiebreaker, coming out ahead and getting the points for
Frey defeated the Huskies' Lilian Asuaje 7-6 (4), 6-0, to claim her 24th win on the season. Zoubareva had the victory over NIU's Dora Delgadillo 7-6 (5), 6-0 for her 22nd win. Horning played at the No. 6 spot and beat the Huskies' Stephanie Okuma 7-6 (2), 6-1, for her 11th win this year.
