
Women's Tennis Wins Second of Weekend

”We definitely came to play today,” Head Coach Tracy Mauntler said. “Everyone contributed to today's win. I am pleased with where we are at this point in the season. We have improved over the past two weekends, which is what we set out to do.”
Sophomores Martina Wodzinski and Nadia Zoubareva defeated
Sophomore Maha Guirguis fought until the very end against Butlers Gabriella Bobrowski. The first set went into a tiebreaker where Guirguis was victorious, 7-6 (5). In the second set, Guirguis came fighting even harder not letting Bobrowski get a game, winning 6-0, and getting the point.
Belsky played an equal partner in the Bulldogs Becky Jenkins going to three sets. Belsky came out ahead in the first set with the 6-2 victory. The second set Jenkins got revenge and the 6-3 win. In the third set Belsky proved that she was stronger and got the 6-2 win for the Rockets. Belsky has the second most win on the team with a 15-4 record.
Freshman Ashley Frey is continuing her winning ways as she has the best record on the team with an 18-3 mark. She beat Butlers Jaimes 6-2, 6-2 for the point.
The Rockets will next go on their Spring Break Trip where they will play three games in five days. The first game will be on March 4 against
