• Toledo has now won 15 straight home openers and its last 17 non-conference home games. The Rockets are 42-3 (.933) in non-conference home games under Head Coach Stan Joplin and 37-4 (.902) in Savage Hall since the start of the 2003-04 campaign.

• The Rockets are 2-1 against Colonial Athletic Association schools this season with wins over VCU and UNC Wilmington and a loss at Drexel. Head Coach Stan Joplin holds a 6-3 record vs. CAA members during his 11-year tenure.

• UT registered season highs for steals (16), offensive rebounds (15) and free-throw attempts (26) and forced a season-high 27 turnovers. UNC Wilmington's 61.5 field-goal percentage was the highest by a Rocket opponent this season.

• Sophomore guard Tyrone Kent equaled his career high with 16 points and also grabbed a career-best seven rebounds.

• Senior forward Keonta Howell registered his fourth 20-point outing of the season and has led UT in scoring on four occasions this season. Howell saw his streak of 25 consecutive free throws end, four shy of the Rockets' school record. Howell equaled his career best with six free throws and is now 22-of-23 (.957) from the charity stripe this season.

• Senior forward Florentino Valencia grabbed a career-high four steals and tied for the team lead with seven rebounds. He has led the Rockets in rebounds in six of eight games this season and has scored in double figures in seven of eight contests.

• Senior guard Justin Ingram dished out a season-high five assists. He also scored 11 points and has scored in double figures in seven of eight game this season.

• Junior guard Kashif Payne tallied a season-high nine points as well as a season-best four steals.

• Sophomore guard Jonathan Amos scored eight points and notched a season-high four steals.
