Toledo, OH - Toledo swimming and diving lost to Ohio State 170-119 in a non-conference meet on Friday. The Rockets are now 4-3 on the season.
Winning for the Rockets were Kylie Gamlier in the 200 breaststroke (1:28.21), Makenzie Manard in the 100 butterfly (58.18) and Sara Stech in the 500 freestyle (5:15.15). UT's 200 freestyle relay team of Brie Hennings, Liz Hinkleman, Makenzie Manard and Brittany Dominique also took first place (1:28.21).
"I am disappointed in our loss to OSU," said Head Coach Lars Jorgensen. "We defiantly have a lot to work for before the conference meet in Febuary. There were a few that swam well today and I think Megan McKinley dove well for us today even though she didn't win."
McKinley placed third in the three-meter dive (282;07) and second in the one-meter dive (277.05).
Toledo travels to Eastern Michigan next weekend to attend the EMU Invitational. This will end the fall portion of the season.
