Final Stats
Toledo, OH - Toledo's women's swimming and diving team defeated Buffalo 157-137 in their last MAC duel meet of the fall season. The Rockets improve their MAC record to 2-2.
UT captured first place in 10 events. Winning for the Rockets were Sara Stech 1,000 freestyle, Shannon Hazelton 100 backstroke, Kylie Gamiler 100 breaststroke, Liz Hinkleman 50 freestyle, Amanda Breen 200 breaststroke and Megan McKinley in the three meter diving. Winning two events was Makenzie Manard in the 200 butterfly and 100 freestyle. And winning her first event as a Rocket was Ashley Cusack in the 200 freestyle.
"I am very proud of how we swam," said Head Coach Lars Jorgensen. "It was good that we ended MAC fall competition with a win, that will help us in the spring."
UT will travel to Big 10 power house Ohio State this Friday, November 17.
