TOLEDO, OH - Toledo Head Women's Basketball Coach Mark Ehlen announced some revisions today to his upcoming 2005-06 schedule.
The Rockets' contest against Cleveland State on Saturday, Dec. 3 has been cancelled. UT is in the process of looking for an opponent to fill that contest, but none has been found as of yet.
In another scheduling change, Toledo's home match-up vs. Wright State on Saturday, Dec. 10 has been moved to 4:30 p.m. from 7:00 p.m. as the first part of a doubleheader. Later that evening, the UT men's team will battle Ferris State at approximately 7:00 p.m.
The same can be said on Saturday, Jan. 21, as Toledo's home match-up vs. Western Michigan has been moved to a 7:00 p.m. tip-off from 4:30 p.m. Earlier that day, the UT men's team will battle Ohio at 4:30 p.m.
One final change, UT's game vs. Akron on Wednesday, Feb. 8 has been moved to 7:00 p.m. from 5:30 p.m. Originally, the game was scheduled to be the first part of a doubleheader with the men's team, but they switched their contest vs. Kent State to Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
The Rockets are also scheduled to play in a holiday tournament in New Orleans on Dec. 28-29 at the Tulane DoubleTree Classic. But as a result of Hurricane Katrina, the tournament may be moved to a different location. Other teams scheduled to compete in the field are Dayton, Samford and the host Green Wave.
