Anumgba led Toledo in scoring, rebounding and steals in run to tournament title game
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Graduate student guard Patricia Anumgba's performance put her on the Mid-American Conference All-Tournament Team, the league announced following the conclusion of the 2026 Mid-American Conference Women's Basketball Tournament on Saturday.

Anumgba turned in three spectacular performances in the Rockets' run to the conference title game. She scored 19, 29 and 22 points (23.3/game), leading Toledo on the scoresheet in all three games. She also led the team with 9.7 rebounds per game and 3.0 steals per game, and knocked down 13-of-13 free throw attempts for the tournament.

In Wednesday's quarterfinal win against UMass, Anumgba marked her first career double-double. She scored 19 points with a career-high 12 rebounds. 15 of her 19 points came in the second half to help the Rockets pull away from the Minutewomen.

Anumgba then supplied an offensive explosion in Friday's upset victory over Ball State, scoring a career-high 29 points. She shot 11-of-22 from the field and 3-of-6 from three-point range. She added nine rebounds and three steals in the effort.

In Saturday's championship game, Anumgba supplied 22 more points, shooting 8-of-19 from the field and 2-of-4 from three. She hauled in eight more rebounds and tallied three more steals.

Behind Anumgba's efforts, the No. 6 seeded Rockets defeated No. 3 seed UMass, 67-56 and No. 2 seed Ball State, 69-65 to reach the title game. The Rockets rallied from 20 points down to as close as five, before falling to No. 1 seed Miami, 68-58 in the championship game.
