Kim Kester Named Toledo Athlete of the Week

Toledo, OH - Junior co-captain Kim Kester shot a three-round score of 226 (78-76-72--226) to finish in third place and lead the Rockets to a second-place team finish at the Notre Dame Invitational.

Kester's performance gave her career bests for lowest round (72), lowest 54-hole score (226) and best tournament finish. She also finished just one stroke shy of tying UT's school record for best 54-hole total.

Toledo will return to action next weekend when it travels to East Lansing, MI to compete in the Mary Fossum Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, September 17-18.
