Men's Tennis: Rockets Announce 2003 Winter and Spring Schedules

Toledo, OH - The University of Toledo men's tennis program will compete in 20 matches over the course of the 2003 winter and spring seasons, highlighted by six matches against Big 10 teams.
The Rockets will play nine home matches, six matches at Laurel Hill Tennis Club and three matches at the UT Outdoor Tennis Courts. Toledo will open the 2003 winter season at Laurel Hill on Saturday, Jan. 18 against DePaul.
Getting the Rockets ready for the Mid-American Conference season will be matches against Big 10 opponents Ohio State, Michigan State, Purdue, Iowa, Michigan and Penn State.
Other non-conference matches for the Rockets in addition to their five-match MAC schedule include trips to East Tennessee State on Mar. 14 and Radford on Mar. 15
"We are very excited about playing another very competitive schedule," Toledo Head Men's Tennis Coach Al Wermer said. "In our quest for the MAC championship we have a very tough non-conference schedule to get us ready."
