TOLEDO, OH - Sophomore guard Courtney Risinger's career performance wasn't enough as the Rockets suffered a 75-57 setback at the hands of Youngstown State at Savage Hall.
Risinger finished the game with career highs in both points (19) and rebounds (7), in addition to making a career-best six three-pointers.
UT appeared to be in solid shape heading into the second half after taking an eight-point lead, 36-28, at intermission.
But following Risinger's three-pointer to open the second half, the Penguins went on a 29-5 run to take a 57-44 lead with just over seven minutes remaining in the game.
YSU held the Rockets to 29.3 percent shooting from the floor, while making 46.0 percent of its own shots.
The Rockets return to action again on Thursday at Duquesne with their final non-conference game of the season.
