Hall of Fame
Earl Kaiser lettered in Basketball as a starting guard in 1934, 1935 and 1936 and also lettered as a champion in track and field each of those seasons. In track and field he competed in the 220 yard dash, the 440, the hurdles, and the long jump. He was the Ohio High School 220 champion prior to coming to UT, and while here he became the conference 440 champion. After graduation from UT Earl went into teaching and coaching in Toledo Public Schools and eventually was elected to the Ohio High School Athletic Directors Hall of Fame. In his spare time he became one of the most respected collegiate game officials in the Midwest, working games in the Big Ten, the Southeastern conference, the Mid-American Conference, and the Missouri Valley Conference for thirty-two years.
