Former Rocket Sathika Ruenreong is in her second season as the graduate assistant coach for the Toledo women’s golf program after enjoying a standout four-year career (2012-16) for the Rockets.
A Kanchanaburi, Thailand native, Ruenreong earned first-team All-MAC honors in all four seasons of her Rocket career (2012-16) and set school season records for stroke average (73.83), most rounds (36), most rounds under 80 (36) and tying the record for most tourney titles (2). She holds career records for lowest stroke average (74.94), most rounds under 80 (122) and the co-leader for most tournament crowns (4). Ruenreong also became the first Rocket ever to appear in the NCAA Regionals as she tied for 36th place out of 96 golfers at the Shoal Creek Regional.
Ruenreong graduated in 2016 with a degree in finance. She is currently pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in finance.
