Senior running back Kareem Hunt is Toledo's Male Athlete of the Week following his performance at Western Michigan last Friday.
Hunt carried the ball 20 times for a season-high 200 rushing yards and a touchdown. Additionally, he hauled in three receptions for 73 yards including a 41-yard catch and run. In the first half, he accounted for 173 of Toledo's 197 yards of total offense. It was Hunt's third 200-yard rushing game of his career. His 4,825 career rushing yards is only 24 yards short of the all-time school rushing record held by Chester Taylor (1998-2001).
