Redshirt freshman quarterback Tucker Gleason is Toledo's Male Athlete of the Week following his performance in Saturday's win at Eastern Michigan.
Gleason got his first collegiate start at quarterback in Toledo's 27-24 win over EMU. He replaced sophomore Dequan Finn, who sat out the game with an injury. Gleason connected on 15-of-27 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for 33 yards on seven carries, including a 21-yard run on 3rd-and-12. The Tampa, Fla. native engineered a game-winning 12-play drive in the fourth quarter to help lead the Rockets to victory.
