Biography
UT Highlights: Competed in two races as a junior....Finished 42nd with a time of 19:21.44 at EMU Classic.... Ran four races as a sophomore...Had a season-best finish of ninth at the EMU Open...Also had an 18th-place finish at the EMU Fall Classic...Competed in four events freshman year...Finished seventh among UT runners at Lakefront Invite (19:18.00) and Pre-NCAA’s (24:23.00)...Placed 26th overall in Rocket debut at the Toledo Rocket Opener (20:44.50).
High School: Lettered four years in cross country and three years in track & field...Named to the Michigan All-State team in cross country in 2010 after finishing 21st at the state cross country championships and helping to lead her school to the state championship team title...Led team to back-to-back state championships in 2009 and 2010 along with twin sister, Sharon...Has run a personal-best time of 19:04 for 5000m in cross country.
Personal: Born Kelly Amber Morgan on August 26, 1993...Daughter of Lucinda Stephenson and Todd Weatherwax...Has two sisters, Lisa (21) and fellow member of the Toledo cross country and track & field teams, Sharon (20)...Majoring in recreational therapy.
