As a Junior (2017-18): Went 3-13 (0-4 MAC) in singles and 7-7 (1-2 MAC) in doubles for Toledo ... Went 6-5 in the No. 1 doubles spot and played his best when partnered with fellow countryman Danilo Vukotic ... The two went 5-3 in No. 1 doubles and earned the MAC doubles team of the week award for March 12-18.
As a Sophomore (2016-17): Received ITA Scholar Athlete and Academic All-MAC honors … Earned an overall record of 8-10 in singles play … Recorded four two-set singles victories and four three-set singles victories … Defeated Duquesene’s Drew Akins (6-3, 6-7, 10-8) … Captured a victory of Northern Illinois’s Eric Marbach (6-1, 7-6)
As a Freshman (2015-16): Finished season with a 15-12 singles record and a 13-15 mark in doubles play...Started collegiate career with a 9-2 singles mark in the fall, including season-best five-straight match wins (10/9-10/22)...Posted eight two-set victories...Went 2-0 at first singles against Aquinas College and Denison...Bested Michigan State's Mac Roy, 6-7 (9-11), 6-4, 10-4, at the No. 2 spot...Defeated Buffalo's Amar Hromic, 6-3, 6-2, at second singles...Went 3-1 in doubles with Omar Espinosa in fall play...Paired up with Stjepan Sisko to finish season with a 6-6 mark in No.1 doubles.
High School: Claimed first-place in the U-14, U-16 and U-18 categories of the national rankings. More recently, he placed second among high school seniors in Serbia. He is a three-time victor of the Cup of Serbia and was the Serbian national champion in doubles. Vitosevic plans to major in computer science and engineering.
Perosnal: Son of Zdravko and Biljana Vitosevic...Has one brother, Filip (27), and one sister, Jovana (24)...Plans on majoring in computer science and engineering.
