Brennan Whitis enters his second season as the graduate assistant coach for the Toledo men’s golf program. Whitis came to Toledo following a four-year collegiate career at Wittenberg University, where he played three seasons for Toledo Head Coach Jeff Roope.
During Whitis’ career at Wittenberg, the Tigers achieved at record levels on and off the course highlighted by winning the 2017 NCAA Championship. He served as the team captain in his senior season and was part of four North Coast Athletic Conference Championship squad. In addition, Wittenberg placed third at the national championships in 2015 and 2016 and eighth in 2018.
A Columbus, Ohio native, Whitis graduated from Wittenberg last spring with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a minor in sport management.
