2022: Ran in one race and finished 49th at the Ohio XC Invitational on Sept. 2.

2021: Ran in three races… Placed 43rd with a time of 28:00.0 at the Falcon Invitational (Oct. 16)… Placed 80th after running a 27:03.4 at the Spartan Invitational (Sept. 17).…  Earned 119th place with a time of 27:21.0 in the 5000M Gold Race at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite (Oct. 1).

2020: Finished with a time of 17:21.1 in the 5K at CMU's Jeff Drenth Memorial, coming in 10th overall in Shepard, Mich. (Oct. 31).

2019: Three top 10 overall finishes...Finished with a time of 33:05.3 in the 10k at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Madison, Wisc. (Nov. 15)... Placed 13th overall in the MAC Championship Meet in DeKalb, Ill. (Nov. 2) with a time of 25:57.1... First on squad (sixth overall) with a time of 25:02.0 at Under Armour Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind. (Oct. 19)... Clocked a season-best time of 24:37.2 to finish second overall at the Buckeye Preview in Columbus (Sept. 28)...Finished fourth overall with a time of 27:19.0 at the NIU Huskie Challenge in DeKalb, Ill. (Sept. 6). 

Central State (2018):  Placed second with a 10K personal-best of 31:44.2 at the NCAA Division II South Regional (Nov. 17) ... Posted an 8K time of 34:22.9 at the NCAA Division II Championships (Dec. 1) ... Finished first at the SIAC cross country Championship (25:06.4, Nov. 2) and at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational (25:20.5, Sept. 21) ... Stopped the clock at 24:41.8 for an 8K PR at the All-Ohio Championships (Sept. 29) ... Named 2018 Divison II Freshman Male Runner of the Year by the Ohio collegiate cross country coaches  ...2018 All-Region in cross country ... Named two-time NCAA DII All-Academic All-American ... Competed on the Central State track & field team in the spring.

Personal: Born Raymond Kipleting Korir ... Parents are Julius and Esther Maru ... Has two brothers and two sisters .. Majoring in mechanical engineering technology.
