Holden Tincher is in his second year as an assistant strength & conditioning coach for the Olympic sports teams at the University of Toledo, after joining the staff full time in August of 2022.
Tincher served UT's strength & conditioning intern during the 2019 fall semester, before taking the role as Bedford High School's Strength and Conditioning Coach from 2020-22. He then served as the Strength & Conditioning Coach at St. John's Jesuit High School while working part-time with the Rockets during the 2022-23 season.Â
A native of Temperace, Mich. native, Tincher received his bachelor of science degree in exercise science, with a concentration in health, performance, and fitness promotion from the University of Toledo in 2019, and earned his master's degree in recreation administration-recreational and leisure studies from Toledo in 2021. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Tincher and his wife, Shelby, reside in Toledo.Â
