Five Current and Former Rockets Competing at This Week's Ohio Open

Bence Bertenyi and Rasmus Gross playing in Danish Amateur with Cameron Bozyk at Michigan Amateur
TOLEDO, Ohio – Junior Zane Aiken and sophomore Braden Herstich will be competing at this week's Ohio Open in Akron, Ohio. The three-day tournament will take place on Monday, June 29-Wedhnesday, July 1 at the Firestone Country Club.
An Akron native, Herstich competed in four tournaments in his first season as a Rocket. Aiken will be wearing the Midnight Blue & Gold for the first time this fall after transferring to Toledo from Central Alabama C.C. Former Rockets Mason Deal, Solomon Petrie and Dylan Van Fossen are also scheduled to participate in the tournament.
Junior Bence Bertenyi (Budapest, Hungary) and sophomore Rasmus Gross (Gothenburg, Sweden) will also be competing in the Danish Amateur on June 30-July 3 at the Silkeborg Golfklub in Denmark.
Adrian native Cameron Bozyk is participating in the Michigan Amateur this week as well at Eagle Eye Golf Club in Bath, Mich. The first two rounds will be held on Monday, June 29-Tuesday, June 30 with match play taking place on Wednesday, July 1-Friday, July 3.
The Rockets will be opening their 2026-27 season at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate on Aug. 31-Sept. 1 in Knoxville, Tenn.
