Senior earns spot on all-tournament team
ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – Senior Bence Kotel earned a spot on the all-tournament team by tying for fifth place on Tuesday at the 2026 Mid-American Conference Men's Golf Championships. Kotel finished three strokes out of first at the par-71, 7,349-yard Holliday Farms Golf Club in his final tournament as a Rocket.
Kotel played his first 11 holes at one-under par today before bogeying five of his final seven holes to drop to fifth place.

Miami finished first in the nine-team field with a 54-hole score of 28-over-par 880 to become the fourth different school to win the conference title in the last four years. Northern Illinois finished second at 35-over par.
The RedHawks' Liam Nelson captured medalist honors by shooting even-par today to finish at four-over-par 217 for the tournament.
