Toledo Releases 2026 Outdoor Track and Field Slate

Rockets set to compete in 13 meets throughout outdoor season
TOLEDO, Ohio – Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Andrea Grove-McDonough announced the Toledo women's outdoor track and field schedule today. The schedule includes 13 meets that lead up to the 2026 Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Muncie, Ind. on May 14-16.
The Rockets earned a fourth-place finish in the 2026 MAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 27-28, marking the program's best finish since 2022.
Toledo will begin the outdoor portion of the season on Friday, March 20 at the Blizzard Buster in Oxford, Ohio. The squad will then head to Raleigh, N.C. for the Raleigh Relays on March 26-27.
In April, the Rockets will compete at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio (April 3-4) and then head to the We Fly Challenge in Muncie, Ind. (April 10-11). UT will split squads at three meets during the weekend of April 16-18, heading to the 55th Annual GINA Relays in Hillsdale, Mich., the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C. and the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Va. Toledo will then close out April with the Penn Relays (April 23) and the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet (April 24-25).
The Rockets will begin May at the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, N.J. (May 1-2) and the Jesse Owens Invitational in Columbus, Ohio (May 1-2). The regular season will conclude with the Hillsdale 13 Event Last Chance in Hillsdale, Mich. (May 6) and the Billy Hayes Invitational (May 8).
The MAC Outdoor Championships are set for May 14-16 in Muncie, Ind. The NCAA East Preliminary Round will be on May 27-30 in Lexington, Ky. with NCAA Outdoor National Championships being held on June 10-13 in Eugene, Ore.
