TOLEDO, Ohio – A season-high scoring effort from Patricia Anumgba and double-doubles from Evalyse Cole and Faith Fedd-Robinson lifted the Toledo women's basketball team to a 76-67 victory at Savage Arena in the MAC-SBC Challenge on Saturday.

Â
UT assisted on 21 of its 27 field goals and out-rebounded Southern Miss, 45-35. Toledo also held the advantage from beyond the arc, holding the Golden Eagles to just 1-of-11 shooting for a 6-1 advantage in three-pointers made.

Quoting Head Coach Ginny Boggess
"Really fun to get back on the right track and in the win column today. Our effort and our intensity is a hallmark of this program, and we talked all week about what a privilege it is to put on a jersey. Southern Miss is a very talented team and the Sun Belt is a physical league, and that's how we want to play. I'm glad we were able to get this one."
