Toledo nearing MAC Tournament clinch; looks to sweep Battle of I-75
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team faces two Mid-American Conference contests against UMass on Wednesday, Feb. 18 and at Bowling Green in the Battle of I-75, presented by Fremont Federal Credit Union on Saturday, Feb. 21. Tipoff is at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both games will air on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network.
The Rockets (13-10, 7-5 MAC) are coming off a 62-51 victory against Eastern Michigan on Saturday. The Rockets were led by a double-double from sophomore Faith Fedd-Robinson, her third of the season, with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Junior Kendall Carruthers added 14 points, including the last seven points of the game in the closing minutes. Toledo is sixth in the MAC standings.
The Minutewomen (18-5, 10-2 MAC) handed Miami its first conference loss of the season on Saturday in a 65-64 victory at the Mullins Center. UMass is third in the MAC standings, 1.5 games behind Ball State for first.
The Falcons (13-12, 5-8 MAC) fell, 82-67, at Ball State on Saturday. Bowling Green will host Western Michigan on Wednesday. BGSU is eighth in the conference standings, one game ahead of Eastern Michigan for the final MAC Tournament spot.

Opening Tips
- Toledo will play its first road game in two weeks on Wednesday at UMass. The Rockets finish the regular season playing four of their final six games on the road.
- UT enters the week four games up in the loss column for a Mid-American Conference Tournament position and has a chance to clinch this week.
- The Rockets will see UMass for the only time this year, while playing Bowling Green for the second time. Toledo looks for its first regular-season sweep of the season against BGSU, having beaten the Falcons, 59-49, at Savage Arena on Jan. 31.
- Toledo comes into the week as one of the top rebounding teams in the league, out-rebounding 18 of its 23 opponents thus far, including in 10-of-12 MAC games.

- Sophomore Evalyse Cole had back-to-back double-doubles against Southern Miss and Ohio, along with nine points and seven rebounds against Eastern Michigan. Over her last three games, she has averaged 12.7 ppg and 9.3 rpg.
- Toledo is 31st in the country in attendance, averaging 4,023 fans per home game. The Rockets brought the second-biggest crowd of the season against Eastern Michigan with 4,361 fans.
- On the glass, Faith Fedd-Robinson is eighth in the league rebounds with 7.2 per game. She is fourth in conference games with 7.9 per contest. Evalyse Cole is 15th with 5.4 rpg.
- As a team, Toledo leads the league in opponent rebounds (29.6), and is third in defensive rebounds (25.7) and rebound margin (+8.0). The +8.0 margin is 27th in the country.
- The Rockets have the third-best scoring defense in the MAC, allowing just 63.4 points per game.
- From the floor, Miriam Diala is fourth in the league at 55.8%, while Fedd-Robinson is 14th at 48.4% and Cole is 16th at 48.1%
- Patricia Anumgba ranks 15th in the league with 1.6 three-pointers per game.
- Kendall Carruthers is shooting 75.4% from the free throw line, 13th in the MAC.
- Fedd-Robinson is 11th with 16 blocks, while Anumgba is 13th in steals with 36.
