Toledo enters contest with 4-2 home record this season
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team will play at home for the first time in 2026, when the Rockets take on Western Michigan on Saturday, Jan. 10. Tipoff from Savage Arena will be at 2:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
The game is dedicated to Justice for Sierah and the Rockets will wear purple-themed jerseys for the contest. A live auction for the game-worn jerseys is available by visiting UTRockets.com/Sierah. Justice for Sierah is an organization dedicated to preventing assaults and abductions through empowerment, education and advocacy, providing year-round self-defense and awareness programs.
The Rockets (6-7, 1-2 MAC) gave Ball State a late charge and got within a possession in the final minute, but the comeback bid came up short in a 72-68 decision in Muncie on Wednesday. Junior Kendall Carruthers led Toledo with 19 points, including 11 the fourth quarter. Sophomore Miriam Diala secured a career-high 11 rebounds on the evening.
The Broncos (5-8, 2-1 MAC) are coming off back-to-back home wins, knocking of Buffalo, 83-65 and Akron, 55-48.

Western Michigan won the only matchup between the two schools last year, 41-38 in Kalamazoo. The Rockets and Broncos will play in Kalamazoo on March 4.
